context

Our collaboration with Izili demonstrates our focus on designing thoughtful digital experiences that support both organisations and the communities they serve. The project began with an in-depth exploration of Izili’s vision to make clean energy solutions more accessible, while equipping sales agents with the tools they need to assist customers effectively. To establish a clear creative direction, we started by developing a mood board that captured the intended visual style, user experience principles, and overall tone of the platform.

Style Guide

Design Elements

A digital style guide plays an important role in ensuring a consistent and cohesive experience across all digital products. For Izili, the guide defines key design elements such as typography, colour palettes, components, and layout principles. By establishing these standards, it helps ensure that every screen and interaction reflects the brand’s visual identity and values. Maintaining this consistency not only strengthens brand recognition but also improves usability and efficiency for design and development teams, making it a key resource for building and scaling Izili’s digital platforms.

User Experience (UX)

For Izili, we set out to design a mobile app that not only highlights their product offering but also equips field agents with the tools they need to perform their roles effectively.
Our design process began with the creation of detailed wireframes, which established the foundation for a smooth and intuitive user experience (UX).
These wireframes act as the structural framework of the app, defining the layout, functionality, and key user interactions required for agents in the field. By carefully planning each screen and user journey, we designed a platform that supports clear and efficient workflows for field agents. The experience was crafted to be simple and intuitive, allowing agents to access information quickly and complete tasks with ease.
The result is a practical mobile solution that enhances the sales process while strengthening Izili’s digital presence.

User Interface (UI)

As part of the UI phase for Izili, our focus shifted to shaping the visual language of the mobile app. The aim was to create an interface that feels professional, modern, and aligned with the brand while still supporting the practical needs of agents using the platform daily.
Special attention was given to how users interact with each screen. By simplifying navigation and highlighting key actions, the interface helps agents move through tasks quickly and efficiently while maintaining a polished visual experience. The result is a thoughtfully designed mobile interface that feels both functional and visually refined, bringing Izili’s digital product to life through a user-friendly experience that supports agents in their day-to-day work while reinforcing the brand’s evolving identity.

Our Challenge

Work smoothly in environments where internet connectivity may be unstable or limited

During the development of Izili, we encountered several technical considerations that were important to the success of the platform. Two key areas we focused on were integrating with the client’s existing systems and ensuring the app could function reliably for agents working in the field.
Because the client relies on a central operational system to manage products, customers, and sales activity, it was essential that the mobile platform remained aligned with this data. To support this, we implemented a synchronisation process that regularly retrieves and updates product and customer information, ensuring the app always reflects the most up-to-date data.
Another challenge involved designing the app to work smoothly in environments where internet connectivity may be unstable or limited. Since agents often operate in remote locations, the platform needed to remain usable even when network access is inconsistent. We addressed this by implementing functionality that allows certain actions and data to remain accessible, with updates syncing once connectivity is restored.
